Adding My Voice to Research Study

February 12, 2026 ~ Kylie Eklund-Denman ~ Leave a comment

Yesterday morning I had an MS Teams meeting with a very lovely research student who is writing her Master's thesis on recent late diagnosis of ADHD in women aged 35-65 years old. I had responded to a flyer on an ADHD Facebook page requesting participants. As this area of research is reasonably new, and women … Continue reading Adding My Voice to Research Study

It's been a while since I've written anything, and I've been mostly absent from social media. I'm not sure I'd call it a mid-life crisis, but I'm definitely middle aged, unless I live to 120 years old. Some of my dolls, for context ❀️ Did you know I’m a collector? I have several serious collections. One is Blythe Dolls. We found our dream house in Tokyo. Sadly it’s in a museum, but is perfectly furnished and just out style 😜 @maskedman01 #tatemonoentokyo #edotokyooutdoormuseum #tokyo #japanmidcentury #japandi Nine years ago, Stu and I bought a house. It became the home we blended our families together in, and in which we had many great times. We finally sold our Ferny Creek house to a lovely local family who are excited to be custodians of the forest ❀️ As a fellow ADHDer I completely understand how this happened, but it made me laugh when I got home @sallyhepworth and realised you started signing my book today, but only wrote my name and not yours 🀣🀣🀣 Happy WORLD SAKE DAY 🍢 Listening to Charlotte Wood speaking to Jaclyn Crupi about her body of work last night was such a treat. There were so many take aways for an aspiring writer, but also a lot to learn from for an aspiring interviewer. The Mother of All Calamities by Lisa Moule is a fast paced, whirlwind story about contemporary parenting. It's funny and smart and hard to put down.
